Golden Scratcher worth it?
The last time I bought 5 I ended up 13 donuts short of the $4.99 package. But.. the time before that I only bought one and won 50. Total crap shoot!

I have done the calculations before based on the odds of getting each outcome, and the average donuts per golden scratcher you will win over the long term is exactly 13.2 donuts per card. So, in theory buying the 132 donuts for $10 is just as good as buying 10 scratchers, although with the scratchers you obviously have a chance to end up with more or less than your expected outcome of 132 depending on luck.
I kinda figured this was the case. Hell I've wasted 10 bucks on worse things before. I'll buy 10 bucks worth and post the results here when I do.
