Goo to Donuts?

I've had 3 donuts so far. I have around 2,800 goo. I got my first donut just hours after the update. (I rushed the first building.) I think it's just random. But your chance at getting them looks good compared to other updates.

nope donuts are awarded randomly with goo. I got 1 after 500 goo. Others said they got donuts right away. There is no set number of goo to get donuts

There is another thread here with pics that shows you do get donuts for extra goo after you've reached 10,000 and got all the prizes.

It seems to work in a similar way as the bonus donuts when you are at level 35, get 2000 extra goo and you'll have the random choice screen pop up and you select one from the 3 available, but not sure if you can use game money if you don't get 3 donuts with your first choice like the bonus donuts at level 35.

I got the pick three like the bonus level when I hit the 2000 goo mark after collecting all the prizes
