- DigitalBagginsNew Novicewow it took 30 days to fix my town and what you only give them 9 days to fix your town what do you think you're the only person on the planet that has a problem with the Simpsons tapped out.
- No don't go we can work this out. :(
- Good for you! After all it's only a game (and one that's going downhill from the looks of it!) so if you've kicked the addiction you may as well move on :-)
let us know if you get it fixed, but like Snakeeyes said, these things can take time! - I don't blame you. Good luck out there.

If it takes a big company to fix a problem like that in 30 days, that is a failure by any reasonable person's assessment. Valve has fixed all my issues in a week or less.- DigitalBagginsNew Novice

technically ea and the studio are two different companies if EA can fix it they fix it. If they can't they have to send a request to the people that make the game which is the studio that's the reason for the delays - I too had the exact same problem as snake eyes at around the exact same time, and yes, it took just over the 4 week mark to get back to Springfield. All was going fine until the Easter update, two days into it, CRASH! The exact same problem, so these problems do re-occur, I can personally attest to that. As for my current situation, well, it's been since the 16th of last month and counting. So far I've all but completely missed out on the Easter update, but that should remedy itself in about 5 days. There's also been a level update, hopefully, items aren't limited in it? I too feel your frustration and have contemplated TSTO seppuku myself, but find I've invested way too much into it to simply just walk away from it. Curse this OCD! All in all, you should give it some time, like snake eyes mentioned, they are indeed two separate entities and hopefully it will mean they're putting more than just a bandaid on it. Good luck out there :)

EA screws YET ANOTHER player. There's a shock. I am truly sorry for your loss, and here's to hoping the (few) threads I've read on here about EA customer service actually doing GOOD for a player apply in your situation. By all means, even if you part ways with the game, please keep the forum updated as to your progress (or lack thereof) in recovering your town. I'm sure many people would be interested. Good luck, and best of wishes.
Adios Amigos!
On April 19th, I notified EA that my Springfield was obliterated.
I was at level 33, had a carefully laid out town and was a couple days into the Easter Event (happily squashing bunnies), when I was suddenly unable to log on/ connect with server (the dreaded Bart screen). On everyones best advice, I reinstalled my game- AND WAS AT LEVEL 8!
Since notifying EA (via the totally unsatisfactory chat mechanism), I was told it would be 1-2 days, 3-4 days, etc. before I would be "assisted".
Finally on April 28 I was contacted by a non-bot (seemingly) to ask about the problem (again). Stephen G.
(EA Customer Experience) finally assured me that the "studio team" would look into it and he would "be in touch".
Since then-Nada!
By this time I have gone through all 7 stages of loss and have decided to end it all- Springfield-wise.
I can never hope to feel confident this will not happen again, so could not really enjoy the game without apprehension.
Call it EA-PTSD if you will.
Thanks to all my former neighbor-eenos for including me- you may all unfriend me forever.
I will post again in the future to let everyone know how or even if EA resolves the issue.

While I believe your sentiment is to encourage the OP to give it more time, responses like this are unhelpful and only seem to exist to try and make the other person feel stupid.
