Has consumerism dropped?

There is sometimes a calculation lag but I haven't needed any new KEM for 2 levels now.

Maybe the calculations have changed; previously I had to buy some things at every level up

  • I'm certain I had to put 2 more KEMs out with the level 36 update and was just able to put them back.
  • Well, I just got a bonus level up, and my consumerism rating (which was already at one single star) has dropped. It's now half a star.
Hopefully once I get back to building the squidport, the stores there will help, some. I really dislike the idea of crowding my town with kwik-e-marts.
I hope that a small decoration comes around at some point that will raise the rating. My righteousness and obedience are both five stars (though I had to buy a few more training walls, as I lost a star with the bonus level) and gluttony is halfway there in part thanks to the koffee kart.
  • I finally bought a number of KEM today and hid them creatively behind some of the new large buildings we got. So for the first time in a long time, I am at 5 stars. I even did a little remodeling to make it all work. Either we get some more large buildings or they no longer raise consumerism. There's no place left to hide KEMs.
  • I'm staying at 4 1/2 stars because I don't want any more ugly *** buildings. Lame
  • All is clear now. Read somewhere that batchelor arms increases consumerism! So with no consumerism increase in the last level up you can put away some KEMs :)
