Has the forced update hit yet?

'Cause I'm about ready to dump all these neighbors who haven't played for weeks.

I currently have 96 neighbours in the main town after a seep and clean, with about a dozen being new. In the last 24 hours less than 20 have visited me, but I have visited them all. Why post in the add me thread and then not visit. I am an infrequent visitor between events but make a point of daily for all during events. Guess its time to be less nice and see if I can cull the non helpers and find new. I really hate to dump long time friends but when its the same no visit every event they are not helping at all.

I think this depends. Personally, during events, i visit daily during the week. But on the weekends, it's hard for me to get to everyone or visit at all, and if I do, it's randomly throughout the day. So I'll usually skip Sunday to align the visit times again for the week.

I'll give someone several days to do a visit. Not everyone can hit every town every day. It takes quite a bit of time.

Well now I'm gonna have to say that the forced update has NOT hit yet - because I just got 2 handshakes and a graffiti.

Not necessarily. That just means they haven't progressed far enough into the questline. Usually 4 or so parts in.

I have a neighbor who has graffiti in their town but has played within 3 hours. Maybe they were playing a different Origin game.....

I wonder about this as well. My new town of 60 is keeping pace with my old town of 100 neighbors. I don't drop people except for inactivity but I do make sure that I visit everyday. In reality, if you had 100 active neighbors that visited daily, the flu levels would be done in less than 4 days. It isn't necessary to have that many active neighbors but it would be nice for people to reciprocate.
  • I finally deleted five neighbors after discovering they had not played in months. No wonder I never get many taps. I admit I keep some neighbors knowing they don't visit, because I enjoy seeing their designs. I visit all my neighbors daily, but don't always find things to tap.
