Has the random friendship donut gone away?

Isn't it amazing how that works? One can purchase a boatload of donuts and still get a thrill the next time a solitary donut pops up.

Two days ago I got 5 donuts from going through my neighbours, the next day I got four and today I got none. I have 242 donuts right now so I only need 8 to get Barney and then I'll finally be able to use the Plow King costume that's been sitting in storage since Christmas. :D

I've been playing this game for a year and half and I've never got any donuts from going to a friends town. Is there a technique to get donuts?

My record is 6 donuts in one day including 2 from the same town.

Since Mr teeny I got 1 on the first day and 2 on the second day.

I have been getting one or two every day in both towns. Yesterday I got two donuts in a "one" neighbors town and that rarely happens.

4 donuts so far today. My best yet. :D

Its very easy to not notice the free donut. Before teeny came along, i think i got 3 that i didnt see. I have started finding them again...

I still get them.. :)

Ok, so i bought them for 2.99, but i didn't get any donuts from neighbours towns yesterday or the day before and i was too lazy to wait to collect the 8 i needed for Barney's Bowlarama. I also got Squeaky-Voiced Teen.

Oh, how i love donuts. :P

Since this thread opened I've gotten one and I've been pretty good about visiting all my 90ish friends.
