Hate to say it but I think no update

I wouldn't rule it out yet. There have been times when updates haven't been published until late afternoon.

I wouldn't rule it out just yet. Yes, the small updates (Grandpa Skin, Duff Car, etc.) usually come during the morning or late afternoon. However, the big updates like The Christmas and V-Day updates usually came around 7 pm ET. Not sure when the Halloween update came because my I-phone wasn't updated. So hang in there.

Lots of times the update was later than this. Probably easier for everyone's sanity if we give up on it though.

Yeah lets give up. Wrong I will be looking for this update all day and at the end of the day then I'll give up.

Halloween came in at around 3-4 pm...same as Christmas...and V-day I think...IMO if there is an update it would be around that time.

Well we are talking about a rather big in data and complexity update that most probably will no use neighbors jus for some hearts or coins that generate from the houses so if its today I think that it's normal to take some extra time than usual. Of course there is and the possibility that due to the complexity again it might be released next week if serious issues and bugs trouble the developers.

As many expect, the next Simpsons update should a large one based on the evidence.

My question is, haven't some of the items in the code (Ninja Homer) and a few of the snakes been there for awhile? I remember people finding snake egg shells a long time ago. You would think with an update this large, you would see some early promotion on their Facebook feed "Whacking Day Coming Soon!".

These updates all have to be approved and have been exclusively released on Thursdays.

They are still probably working out all the bugs and kinks to make this functional. The idea of mini-games, prizes, interactive stuff with neighbors and the concept of having a "whacking license" all seem like a major overhaul into the game. This might take awhile, as they couldn't even fix the harp stuff.

Someone's said it before. If its bigger it's usually around 2-5pm EST.
Right now, it's 12:40pm EST.

You never know, but what we know for sure is that next week Swanky Fish will be added as a tie-in with the episode of the 14th of April... Still the dates are not right...

If the Whacking day event ends on the 2nd of May that means that according to the previous big events, it will be around for at least 2-3 weeks that means from the 11th or 18th of April. (With exception Christmas that ended a week later)
