Hello, and first post

Hello there fellow people. I am David. I am not a new player but since I don't know much about the game, maybe I should be considered a new player. I just wanted to ask some questions about my profile because it seems kind of bare. It looks like there's nothing interesting I can add to it, to tell people about me. Is that the way it's supposed to be or am I missing something?

Game question: I want to add lenny and Carl but I'm confused how to do that. It says I have to get the Springfield Buddhist temple?? But that's locked. I don't get how Lenny and Carl are connected to the Buddhist temple. I would have thought they would be connected to the nuclear plant or Moe's. Am I missing something here too?

I'm not all that bright, so it's possible I'm missing something.
Thanks for reading if you did,

David

You have to be at Level 27 before you're able to add Lenny and Carl. There was a episode where it was revealed Lenny and Carl are Buddists so that's why they are connected to the temple.
  • Welcome. Here is a nice tip thread to read through https://forums.ea.com/en/the-simpsons-tapped-out/discussion/90074/tips-for-players/p1

Here is a post with a bunch of other tips and info https://forums.ea.com/en/the-simpsons-tapped-out/discussion/97993/tips-for-players-other-links/p1

  • there is no set way for the add ons, they can fit in a lot of ways. you might try a Google search of "tapped out" + the building you are working on
Carl and Lenny are revealed to be Buddhist in She of Little Faith S 13 E 06

Wow, I had not known that!! I never saw it! That's amazing I had no idea! Which season was it from? I could have sworn I saw them all but I guess not!

It was the sixth episode of the 13th season called "She of Little Faith".

As a matter of fact I do have a question about some buildings, the ones like the monorail station and the mansions in the Springfield Heights.. They have many pieces but I can't figure out how the pieces all fit together. Is there a picture I can compare to?

Those are Open Configuration building pieces. You can use them (or not) however you please.
Also keep in mind that there's a limit to how many items you can have in your town, so...

Oh yeah. I figured something like that. I have them all clumped up in my town but without any kind of real order. I was thinking that they still might have been made with a certain picture in mind. Am I wrong?

I don't believe they're from an actual episode. I think they were created just for the game. So...

    Yes, I think you're wrong.
  • Hi and welcome :) (and good luck ? )
Couple more suggestions, the add me thread at the top will let you find friends and go to their towns see how they do different things and if you go to Community home, there is a great category of chats called Springfield Showcase. People post images of how they used and what they did with all sorts of buildings (including the monorail) and lots of discussions on all those types of game elements. Well worth a look through :)

    Have fun!
