Help me spend those donuts!

Hi best advice i can give in regards to spending donuts is to get characters with a building, maybe hold off buying squeaky voice teen and hans moleman as you may be lucky enough to win them via mystery box/homer buddah at some stage- this is how i got both of them. So basically just buy what you like the most seeing as you are purchasing a boatload you will be able to get quite a few premium buildings with characters. But if you are looking to increase your multiplier and earn more money premium decorations are the way to go- cars are the best option for that.

i wouldn't rely on levelling up faster for more donuts as you only get 1/2 each level up and levelling up too quickly can be annoying, at one stage i was at level 26 but was only at a playing level of about 20. So just get what you like and will enjoy having in your town, don't worry about trying to speed things along just enjoy the game :)

Besides the building and premium characters I would suggest as multipliers one of each vehicle as there are tasks associated with burns limo, the shootin' car, and the news van. Ditto with other multipliers with tasks like the hot tub.

House farming can be lucrative and out of the way. You can always store them at a later date and pull them back out if you find yourself suddenly broke.

There will always be new things and characters so save as much as you can.

What kind of multiplier could I expect given a boatload with 1k odd donuts? Should I spend my last 1k donuts on multiplier items (after my buildings and characters) or should I save some?

Be warned that increasing your premium multiplier is addicting. The number of cars and nukes that I've accumulated is shameful.

Buying donuts on this game and increasing your bonus % is like eating some pringles "once you pop you cant stop" same applies to buying donuts.....

Or like choosing the red pill. You can never go back
  • Haha cheers and I have been warned!

What kind of multiplier should I be looking to get to if I want to "farm" donuts at max level? Maybe aiming for 20 donuts a week (is this possible?)

Not sure what you mean by "farm donuts." If you mean leveling up, I don't think you'll be able to level up that much (you get anywhere between 1-3 donuts.)

I agree with those here who say you need to get things that will help you increase your multiplier. That way your cash goes up and you earn more money.

Looks like a good list of what to add. I agree buildings with characters are the best. I like Otto and Fink.
I bought Bumble Bee Man but I'd probably put off getting him. He has 2 outside tasks. One is a half hour the other is an hour.

  • individual characters seem like good value, especially ones at 60 donuts

same with characters+buildings for 150 or under...seems like a good deal

but what is the justification for the expensive ones, like Scorpio for 200 or Bowlarama 250, Disco Stu 180, Sleazy Inn 190..etc etc
i'm not in a hurry to get these rip off items
    :?
  • At the end of the day the most value for me is good characters with interesting tasks at high time increments. Therefore if to do over again I would not have purchased bumblebee man and Kearney. Obviously if they're favs from the show go for it though.

  • i wonder how many donuts to leave spare for any potential new characters

i'd hate to spend down to zero donuts and then they bring out a bunch of awesome characters :-o

that's how they get ya, i guess :x
