There's a difference between "hating" & "complaining". I've complained about aspects of this event (mainly due to boredom), but it's nowhere near as bad as the frustrating & the broken gameplay formula of Easter 2014.
Valid things to complain about (IMO):
Valid things to complain about (IMO):
- It's dragged on too long. It's the 2nd longest event we've had (behind "Clash of Clones", equal with Xmas 2014 & Terwilligers at 41 days long!!).
It's been boring. Once you get the prizes for an Act, there's literally no reason to keep collecting prize currency. For the first 2, I had 7-8days to wait before the next Act!! And quite a lot of players are now just waiting for the Event-kill update, as there's nothing to do but craft.
There's been no really great prizes, especially compared to previous years. That's a personal rating, but a lot of people would probably agree. There's also numerous suggestions been made for prizes based on THOH episodes etc.
There's been barely any new content releases. For premiums - a few skins (which don't even have full task lists!!), a smattering of decorations... and that's it, really. No new characters, and buildings in the prizes area only.
Too much emphasis on crafting, with only half of them new items. Literaly 50% was rehashed stuff (especially decorations that were previously available for cash, so most stocked up then), + characters & UBO skin from last year. Just seems really lazy.
The carelessness of donut pricing. A 80donut premium skin for Luann, who's ALREADY premium?! Premium walls at 20donuts a pop, which give the same % bonus as a 1donut white fence?! Splitting Witch Marge/Cauldron up but still charging last year's price for the skin alone?!
