Why is everyone complaining?

Other than that I have gained a few bonus ? with spooky walls and don't forget 100 Donuts, that's huge for a freemium player. And it wasnt that hard. I mean if you have a job and like to occasionally sleep this is still a doable event.

Exactly, my job and my real life take up most of my time... I play this to enjoy not to check in every 5 min. Its been long since i was able to get all the prices. During the last events i grinded away and still only got like 3 out of 5 prices.

Even now i still need 800 appels befor i can get the last price ... Not even sure if i will get it.
trying to clean up this pigstail we call our home on my day off, its a game on his on with an almost 4 year old and almost 2 year old running after me and "helping" mummy, so playing tapped out is for when im tapped out :p

And i do think it is hard for ea to keep us all happy, there are new player who do not have every item yet and there are veteranes who do... Im just glad the game is still here

Also, why doesn't it LOOK like Halloween anymore? The first Halloween I played had fog and it was dark and errie - now the edges are SLIGHTLY darkened and the Trees are orangey-yellow. Wow, cool.

I recall there were many forum complaints that first Halloween that it was TOO dark. Great at first, but eventually depressing.
  • Seeing as this is my first event, I think it was ok since I got two free premium characters - Hugo and Kodos - just from crafting. Not to getting mention 100 donuts and exp multiplier from crafting spooky walls is nice too tbh.
  • I liked this event enough and certainly don't think it was the worst. I liked the campfire and pond, was super happy that I got House of Evil and Kodos for free and 100 free donuts was fantastic. Also happy to buy returning items like the graveyard, mausoleum and BDH. Being able to craft Wailing Walls has done wonders for my % bonus.

However, it has really dragged on ( I think 3 weeks is enough) and I would've loved for all the craftables to be new and for old decorations to return for cash. Some of the prizes were quite random and not that great. I also could've done without act 2, sending the adults to the houses on tasks - it didn't fit in very well imo.
  • The event was fine. It just didn't meet people's unrealistic expectations. That said it was long and I'm ready for the takedown. Hopefully Christmas brings some much needed cheer back to the forum.
  • 'How was your anniversary EA?'
'Well, I ripped some flowers from the neighbors yard, came home, threw the flowers at her feet and told her I wanted sex after she was done cooking me dinner.'
'You really went all out, I bet she was happy.'
'No, she's had nothing but an attitude since.'
'Really?! Flowers, dinner, and romance and she's still not happy?!'
    'I know, right?!'
    'There's no pleasing some people...'
  • Not usually a hater, but prizes were pretty rubbish. Crafting stages got old within 10mins due to how easy it is to get all the elements.

Know I'm in the minority, but I really miss the wheel. Added some excitement.
