How do you get Osaka Flu?

Hi, new to the forums - but, between myself and my kids, we have seven towns (crazy, I know) - anyway, we have not been "infected with the flu" yet..... Do we need to be doing anything to get infected? Sorry for the dumb question but we feel like we're missing something? Thanks!

    You should get it if another player in your friends list is infected. Is it just your family in your friends list?

    That is probably why. Someone infected needs to visit your town in order for you to get the virus.

    I sent you a friend invite to see if that will help you. You can always delete me later.
