How do you handle Sideshow Bob?

if i see him i tap him or if i get the message i look a bit but if dont find in like 10 seconds i give up. the money and exp you get from him is a joke.

I didn't think there was an impact of if you tap him or not on anything other than your righteousness rating. Assuming this is why the question is being asked. As far as I understand it side show bob has X chance of showing up every time you visit yours or someone else's SF. So theoretically you and everyone of your friends could all visit your SF at the same exact time or within minutes of each other and all tap him if everyone's dice roll was in that X chance range.

I had to chuckle when I saw this topic just now! I saw it when you originally posted it, but I got him while he was casually standing on your Squidport Boardwalk last night or the night before (my memory isn't very good, but it was definitely your town as you had already started this topic :D )!

I tap him when I see him, but usually do not go looking for him. A few months back during COC, he was really annoying me and a very wise friend named Neuroheart told me I should just put up as many training walls as needed so it didn't matter if I tapped him or not. I took this wise friend's advice and now Bob doesn't inspire me to throw my phone across the room when I see him (during COC he was showing up in over 60% of the towns I visited, random or neighbour. 60% is also probably an under estimate of this. It was probably more like 75%, but because it was bothering me so much I thought I may be over estimating).

If it turns out that there is a benefit for neighbours if I tap him in their towns, then I would probably search him out to give them the benefit (but no one seems to know for sure if there is... Unless I completely missed it while reading the other posts, which is quite possible because sometimes I do miss things). Until then, the rule for me will stick to when I see him. :D

No, it isn't clear if there is any benefit to neighbors... I also used to be OCD looking for him in my own town and others. Then I stopped worrying about him. It does seem he is very busy at times, doesn't it!
I like your new Avatar - is (s)he from your enchanted forest? Can't wait to see the entire menagerie! Edit - magical forest !

Thanks! He was a magical forest cat (like Cookie, the cat that was with me in my other avatar - she guards the forest. This one remembers/represents Choco. He snuggles and drools (because he used to drool when he was really happy) on visitors to the forest! All of my cats have passed away (the last a few years back). Choco was Cookies best friend - he once pushed her out of a second story window by accident because he was snuggling up to her - this was when they were kittens. She broke her leg and was scared, but other than that she was okay.

If you want to see real pics of them, and the other two Tigger and Maggie (yep, after Maggie Simpson - she had big innocent eyes like Maggie Simpson, and the show was literally on the TV when she was named), you can check out the Kitty Pics thread in OT!
