How exactly do you get Land Expansion Tokens (other than specifically as prizes during events)?

You need the Golden Goose Realty building. It was just available with the last event so it may be a while before it shows up again. Best 150 donuts purchase ever.

Hmm, if I'm getting occasional tokens, it means I have it, right? I'm honestly not sure if I have that building or not :/ Dang town is so big, it's easy for me to place buildings and have a lot of difficulty finding them again. What does it look like?

You get them sometimes from daily challenges but they are rare. They don't put them in events anymore, so yeah

I don't know how large your town is but don't waste your rare tokens on land that you can buy with cash. There is a lot of land that can only be purchased with tokens and it may be a while before Golden Goose Realty shows up in the store again.

I thought that as I got 3 of them for the whole of last year.
But I'm in the process of getting my 3rd one through DC's since January, go figure. :)

@Bomb319 The GGR was definitely not in the Yearbook along with Servielance Centre and PolyVac Machine, I went through the whole list, none of these were in there.

It depends on how many Land Tokens you seem to acquire.
If it's now and again, it could be DC's as Ellie said.
If it's 1 or 2 a day, every day, then it's the Golden Goose.

Yeah, I've been playing since 2012 but took a year or so off because my job required constant travel and I was always busy with work both during and after hours. Then I got laid off because of Covid, so I went back to the game...apparently just after the building was taken away :(
