- The max price / plot of land is abouuuut 134000. That's the bottom right square. The max differential / plot in that area is about 9000-10000 so the next expensive plot is around in the 120's somewhere. I'd double-check but my game has too many buildings so now it causes a memory error and crashes when it tries to load.
- This is actually a great question. I wish I had been keeping track of how many plots I've purchased and at which costs. Has anyone calculated how large the grid of a "maximized" Springfield is? (Assuming you there is a limit to land purchases)
I already know that each plot of land is 16x16 units each. I've purchased 11 land plots on the north side (alongside the mountains), and 6 alongside the west river (well, not alongside the river, because we can't buy that land (yet?)). I can see buyable land to the south and to the east, which I assume means that my grid of approaching 66 plots can at least be expanded to 84 plots. (I calculated how many plots I had purchased by by placing pavement, which is 4 x 4 units, alongside the boundaries, as a sort of measuring tape.
I thought the Other Springfield would be a good guide to town size, but I think we can make our towns much bigger than it: O.S.'s north-south length seems to be about 6-7 plots to me. - I just (finally) got to the edge of the grid! Pretty sure its 13 x 13 plots... I went along the North end (mountain side) and West end (river side). Looks like it gets a lot pricier as you head towards the south east.
i'll post soon about costs. - The most upper right square (Northeast by the hills) costs $56,000.
The most lower left square (southwest by the water) costs $69,000.
The most lower right square (southeast) cost $137,000.
I forget but i believe the upper left square (by the hills) cost $9100.
There are a total of three burning bushes out there: one towards the hills and upper left, one towards the water on the southwest side, and one towards the southeast.
I also found a total of three donuts out there (forget exactly where, i think in the northeast, one in the southwest, and one in the southeast) but am still in the process of buying all the land expansions.
The total number of squares in the grid is currently 169 squares (13 x 13 grid) - ^ thank you
- spankyKALX thanks for the info

Nice post, Homer. I'm bookmarking this for future reference.- Very valuable information! Now I know where I am on the map. Thanks a lot!
- Francis,
Thanks for the post, I've been meaning to make this myself for a little while but just didn't get round to.

Thanks for the reply and info provided. Yet another excellent resource for us to use. Should be made a sticky.
Hey, mods please make this a sticky
OMG, over $7m just for the land, I can now see why some players have become house farmers. Still not got $1m in the bank yet so I can see I still got a long way to go if I want all the land. Homer27000 wrote:
