How far are you from getting the Farmer's Market?

I think it's really annoying to have the 'Springfield Farmer's Market' crafting task in my task bar. That suggests they expect me to complete it soon. I need around 12000 fertiliser and 2000 corn to craft this so its not gonna happen any time soon. I'm beginning to wonder if they've miscalculated the pay outs from the jobs.

In previous events I've been able to achieve everything, in each section of the event, AND earn donuts. (By hard tapping - not spending donuts either.) This time I think I might just get the mutant pet before the end of act 1, with no chance of earning donuts.

I have been tapping every day, usually every couple of hours. If I missed a day it would make a big difference. During the previous event I actually spent two days flying but it made no difference as the pay out of currency was high enough to allow for this. I think they want us to be spending lots of donuts. Judging by the scores on my leaderboard I think a lot of beans are being purchased. I want to save my donuts for buildings, not spend them on this.

Level 7 is the limit for Act 1. According to the Tapped Out Wiki page, other Monsarno buildings will be available in Act 2 to allow other characters tasks.

Thanks for the tip. It looks nice and all but I may skip getting it so I could level up the research center faster

Level up the Mansanto (or whatever) building to level 7 first. Once you hit level 7 everyone earns more fertilizer for their tasks. Example the 2 hour task "Don't care about the future" earn 5 fertilizer for me now instead of the 2 or 3 it was previously.

I am at 6717 fertilizers and 3288 corn. I should be able to get it before act 2 starts.

I have 6472 fertilizers and 3439 corn so far; at this rate I will have enough to craft the farmer's market before the end of Act 1. But I just see a webpage that list out the upgrade requirements and rewards for each level of the monsarno building (not sure it's reliable or not, maybe someone can double check it); and if it's correct, I wouldn't build the market until after I upgrade my research centre to level 16 at the very least.
