How has the game been?

I'm considering redownloading the game but I gotta know if it's good anymore. How has it been since at least Christmas 2019?

So awsome! Where have you been? You missed so much awesomeness!
  • You missed so, so much. Cars can go and drive on roads now. The trolley is better than the monorail, I think. You can trade items from your inventory with people on your friends list ( was that there when you last played?). The character slitter lets you split your characters into all of their skins at once. Nightmare pile now allows you to send everyone Trick or Treating at once. You can replay "vintage" events. Good stuff!

    Oh stoppit, I've gotta try an' get back up at some point. :D :D :D :D :D :'( :D :'( :D
  • I came back just before Halloween last year after an 18 month break and I'm enjoying the game again, it's not what it once was and every event seems to be following the same layout but to be brutally honest I'm fairly happy with the slower pace of the game, no more need to be on the game during the night just to complete an event, like in the past some of the events are better than others (prize wise anyway), I'd say give it another try and see how it goes.

Although the content has gone down and the events are not what they were, I do prefer the slower pace too.
The previous method as you described was necessary as that was the only way to catch up after being at work 9 to 5.
  • Uhh....hmmm.

    I'd wait.
Some semi-interesting items and characters have been released.
I'd suggest not downloading it if you didn't enjoy the "event" style of glorified mini-events.
The last "event" had no new characters, a handful of new items and three skins.

So yeah, very lack luster, if the Halloween event is good I'd suggest downloading and staying, but at this point it's a toss up, Ketchup, Catsup sort of decision.
  • I just came back about a month or so ago and I'm ok with it. One of the reasons I left was because it was too much. One event after another after another after another... I had a batch of tasks I could just never catch up on because the all required the primary characters - who were all busy doing event tasks. I'm all caught up now.
I'm slowly getting my towns in shape, moving stuff around and making it look better. I just completed a Heights project that's been on the back burner forever...
Oh, and I'm pushing up my multiplier.

Yes but there still isn't enough land.

Wait til you unlock the 26-row Springfield Heights expansion
  • There's been a pride, wrestling, baseball, black history, and future themed events since the end of last year. They've been good to okay in my opinion with Golden Goose Realty returning during the black history month event. Most of the buildings and characters have been good plus there have been some so so decorations. There have also been a few new skins for characters and buildings included which were okay.
