How many of you went over the 4500 item warning?

Had this game since it came out on Android and I've never had the warning message. Premium player too, got plenty of decos. Playing on a Nexus 7 Mk. 1 too. The game only seems to run slowly if Stampy ...

I passed it long time ago, but I actually think it's running slow due to the fact that I have so many characters in my town.
I have exactly 24 characters in my town not including the ones that don't do anything. Which I've taken all those out except for Leprechauns. All others that just walk around for decoration I took them out.

I have noticed that when I have about 1/2 of my characters doing some type of task that my SF game runs really nice.

I play on the IPAD 3rd gen
