How many of you went over the 4500 item warning?

Had this game since it came out on Android and I've never had the warning message. Premium player too, got plenty of decos. Playing on a Nexus 7 Mk. 1 too. The game only seems to run slowly if Stampy is out so I keep him locked up in the Simpson house. Also goes slow sometimes if friends are visiting.
Maybe lose some trees?

    Welp, I got the warning today. Had to dismantle my neighborhood made of flowers and pink houses. That should buy me a bit more time.

    Eventually you'll get this message. I got it last week :(. But, it wasn't too big of a deal. I just removed some trees and redecorated a bit.

    Even at the limit, the game runs smoothly on my iPad air2.
