How many playable characters do you have?

Does anyone know what the max number of characters is, you can have right now?
I recall something like 198, which was before the Superheroes 2 event. So I guess we are a little bit over 200 now.

It's exactly 200 now. So, anyone who voted for over 200 is a liar or mistaken about how many they have.

I have 190. Missing just these ones (listed in order of preference):

Kumiko (I started just a few days after she was given away...argh!)

Hopefully I can eventually make this list smaller. I have the donuts, just need them to be offered up in game.

Basically all of them except for that rich cowboy hick.....I also never unlocked the last Heights blonde girl, can't get enough heights currency to unlock her. I don't think there is even a way to count the characters....or a way to even find out the actual amount. Oh wait, I also don't have Grounds Keeper Willie's brother, I don't have him either. Because I didn't want that ugly building he came with...

I have all 200 characters. Can't wait to see who's 201 and beyond.

You can tell how many playable characters you have when they are all not doing any tasks.
Tap the Office of Unemployment and then the Job Manager. It'll say "send all on _ hr job. Send ___ Characters on jobs "
Check all the different jobs and find the highest one. That's how many you have.

Well, he was second to last, above only a character that never appeared in an episode.

I believe when I tasked them all earlier it was 176.

Just counted all playable characters. 177.
