How to get free donuts by visiting friends?
The more friends you have (there is a max cap at 100), the more chances you have at collecting free donuts as you visit friends.

I get a donut or two every week. Just make sure to sync your game when you see the donut pop out. Syncing is done by returning to the neighbours screen followed by your town. If you lose your connection before you sync, you lose the donut.
