How to unlock Kang and Kodos

I think this could make it fair towards people who played the events where they were originally unlocked or who played donuts

So how would other situations work? i.e. I 'won' Barney free for event currency. He was then added to the shop and made premium (took forever to adjust his quest rates). Same with Miss Springfield, Tatem and probably numerous others. Since they were free, would they stay at the non-premium rate and they'd add a second version for those to purchase them?

I think if EA were to support 2 versions of these dozens of characters, that could be a coding hell.

Mine Triggered after the Midcrisis Galaxy (or towards the end of it). Midcrisis Galaxy one started either towards the end of the main story, or perhaps after crafing the Spooky grove quest (or craft spooky house/hugo). Somewhere around there. I think it was actually after crafting the Spooky House quest (even if you already own 1 or many).

Thank you. I finished all of the crafting quests but the "where no probe has gone before" never started. I tried storing kang but that didn't work either. I don't have Kodos so I thought maybe that was it.

If you started playing the game this year, i suspect you'd feel differently.

Fortunately this game is not about entertaining just one person, who apparently gets pleasure from having what others do not. :roll:

First of all I'll start off by saying when I started playing this there was a lot of stuff I wanted but knew I can't ever have.
It has nothing to do with taking pleasure in something that I have but others don't, far from it. I just think people should be there when it happens if you know what I mean, if you're not then you'll have a new chance next event with new sets of unlocks. That's how I think it should be and if I for example do not make the Christmas event this year I can try again next year with new content being released while the previous items and characters be sold for donuts. This kind of re releases I have no problems with

I will acknowledge that some major improvements will have to be made to eliminate the lockout bug before something like this can be implemented

All that being said re releasing content have some good qualities. But rather than the extreme changes to the earning rates as mentioned in my last post i think the what I mention above is somewhat better.

Let me finish of by saying I am NOT looking to screw people over here

I am open to changing my point of view if you can make convincing arguments. I've received some good replies ( The one about tatum, miss Springfield etc ) I really don't mean to be an a hole and take it upon myself to make the game un enjoyable for everyone else, but i do think at least to some degree event items should be kept exclusive more than just one year.

I think we might have to wait until we get Kodos. I was able to find just a brief comment on TSTO addicts that "if you have Kodos" that part would start so I am taking a wait and see approach. :)
