Another thing you can try is to make sure your tapping finger and screen are completely clean of the natural oils we have in our skin. I do this to help on items like this that require a more precise touch.

Thank you for posting this! Amazing how this is exactly what the directions said to do but somehow was not straightforward :) Didn't realize I had to tap and hold anywhere on the screen, was holding the icon....
