I accidentally deleted the Squidport Boat!
Do you still have the Sea Captain in your town after deleting the boat? (Since the boat unlocked him)

It's in your decorations menu- Shoot I thought I browsed through there too. I assume then when I rebuild it that the captain will come back and story will progress. Thanks for taking a second to help out everyone!
