To my recollection, they show up after you clear certain unique items from that box. I THINK in the gold box that if you clear the Hugs Bunny, Banana Dictatorship AND Bunny whatshisnumber, then you start seeing pink and blue baskets in the gold box. THAT is purely from memory, which ain't saying much I'm afraid. :(
