I closed Krustyland

I agree with you. I tried to redesign mine a bit and have lost interest now completely. It's a shame because I was reallylooking forward to it
  • I just paid for the tooth chipper yesterday, and I'm closing it today, until further notice.

I wish they would alternate these recent updates with SF and KL. I've run out of room in my SF, so I would love them to slow down adding buildings there and have an update in KL with more new rides or buildings. it might make KL more interesting.

Maybe that might be in the next update unless the next one is Halloween which i doubt as there has to be another 1 maybe 2 more before then :P

KL does need another couple of rides thats for sure
  • I'm waiting for Bumper Cars so all the people with makeshift bumper cars now don't know what to do with it :D
  • I agree too. I'm haven't even finished all of the tasks yet and am burnt out. Just purchased the last plot of land in my SF so maybe I'll spend a little more time in KL but my hearts not in it. I still don't have my Squidport the way I want it either. Too much too fast I think.
  • I'm the same, it's an ok little diversion but it simply doesn't have the appeal of a whole town to design and arrange. Partly it's lack of variety (it's always got to primarily be about the rides as a theme park), partly that it's only about a small part of life (theme parks get old quickly if you go to them too often), but also there just seems to be some spark missing that I can't quite define.

Slowly most of my characters are returning to town, especially as I'm still saving up for land, buildings and decorations there.

I've not been tempted to spend any doughnuts in KL either, while SF is tempting me every day!
  • Hubby's KL is closed until he has enough cash to buy the Knowledgeum. Mines open until I build the tooth chipper and save an extra 50,000 tickets just in case there is an update. I don't care about 5 stars and the decorations are less than inspiring.
  • I disagree - Krustyland has been a breath of fresh air for me - a chance to start on a project that isnt as squished as my Springfield is. I love designing the park and decorating it. While the number of shops and food stalls are small, thats what an amusement park is - places can have more than one ring toss or hot dog stand. I am building the pavilion and it will be a sad day when im finished with the tooth chipper as ill be finished building the park - it will be complete with nothing else to do. My residents will come back to Springfield.

My problem is that my springfield is squished up and i have no room to decorate it and im not a millionaire either nor can i afford to buy donuts. Each level brings more buildings to put in it and any land i buy has to go for new buildings because just moving buildings around isnt as enjoyable as building in krustyland is. Right now im working on my squishport and im up to the area where a single tile takes 2 days to make.

I love the freedom and open area to build the still new krustyland. Each time I add new stuff i update the panorama with a new screenshot. Maybe part of the problem is that theres too many decorations and too much to do with springfield that it doesnt attract me as much as krustyland does.

Doing a redesign of springfield is a lot of work. Doing an initial design of krustyland is a lot of fun.
