so it's not going to be a mini event giving all players a sort-of expansion relevant to the game, it's going to be a cash grab so that some players can spend a fortune on pixels for a game. Awesome. Oh, and 2 days before Christmas too.
Wasted opportunity not to make it a proper event (*reserve the right to change mind if they do indeed release more Shelbyvillians). Polarising decision to make it so expensive to get all, and in such odd combos too. Not 1, 2, 1+2, 1+2+3.. nope, just 1, 2 or 3 - or, and, as it could be. Great! Buy all, have loads of donuts, which you can earn easier than ever before, and then wait for new things to spend it on.
Not keen on this. They already moved away from in-game cash to donuts for content, now this could signal the beginning of just buying more donuts. That, IMO, would see plenty of players drifting away from the game.
Of course I realise no one is forced to buy it, or in fact, do anything at all, but this smarts a bit..
