Check my town. I wouldn't even call it a park really, but it might give you an idea to get started. I have a couple of v-ball courts on the beach and a Devil Donut cart right there.

Thanks for posting, fastdan1. I have seen it in your town and looking to do something similar. Sorry, BTW about not visiting lately. I only have so much free time throughout the day to waste on this game, and my redesign is taking up all over it. I'll put everything on hold come next event if I'm not done already.
