I particularly like the Tennis Court idea, though of course I'd rather have it for in-game cash!

I think the numbers quoted are the "base value." Things for new levels cost more at first, but go down as newer levels are released, until they reach their base value.
...but to be honest, those shouldn't matter since we won't see it unless we step away from the game for months.
Maybe so. There was only one real post with prices anyway, so what's it matter if it used base values or immediate release prices?
