I'm broke!

I don't earn enough to keep Mr Burns' money pile going.
  • Under a mil. yep, low on funds get for sure.
Working on building it back up, but 1.3 for spiffanys definitely hurt
  • Everyone's cash reserves took a major hit - however we DID ask EA to give us something to spend our hoards of in game cash on!

I'm spending today sending all my characters on repeated 1hr tasks to try and build it a bit. Looking good so far, however I do have around 100 characters......
  • Yep, got about 5000 cash ATM, going to take a while to build up but will probably leave it low for a while as I've got a busy few weeks coming up
  • I did finish the Burns Money Mountain, but it left my down to about half a million Simpson bucks. Now saving up for Spiffanys.
  • I agree with the poster above who said that this is what we've been asking for -- adds at least a bit of challenge back into our game. I assume this seems a particularly insurmountable goal for those still struggling at lower levels, with a lot fewer characters and mediocre multipliers.

For my son's town, freemium with about 70 characters, it will take several days to collect such large amounts. Thankfully these are not limited time items. I'm working to build his ingame cash as high as possible without playing these levels ... Until I see what the Events bring ... Especially little weekend tieins which can suddenly offer a limited time item available for only a few days.

My advice would be to set those levels aside for a short while. As said in one of the posts above, many times, during events, buildings don't pay out cash, or characters are used for eventr tasks or only earn event currency.

Is it the norm to have a summer event, then Halloween, then Christmas, all with special currency and/or limitations on earning power? In my very own personal opinion, Level 53 (and 52 for that matter) can wait a while.

    But that's just my opinion ... 8)
  • I know this has been discussed ad nauseam, but I wish we could gift in game cash (IGC) to neighboreenos. I could gift $1.5M IGC to each of my 100 neighboreenos and still have more than enough for anything EA throws our way. I'm not saying this to brag. For me, having so much IGC, no available land, and no new decorations in a long while, there's almost no goal to playing TSTO anymore, and that bums me out because I used to really like playing this game.
  • 250000. Its always like that with levels. I spend all my money on the buildings.
  • If you have a house farm, sell it. Prices for houses when up with prior updates, I sold a 'few'of mine for about 10 million. I still have at least 150 houses in each color, white, orange, blue.
