I dont really like this event....I have been one of the lucky ones and haven't had much issues with glitches before...but holy mackerel...!!I just had a daily task of winning a fight in a friend's town without using a heal and get 6 bottles...well I won a round and when I went back to home town it didn't count.... :( I had even gone to the extreme of using the button to take me there...so I said screw it and dismissed it cause I'm not waiting another 4 hours to try again...then hubby also told me they didn't even offer him a daily challenge today...
The bad news like almost all of the events EA releases for this game, this one seems accompanied by its fair share of glitches. The good news is that all of the ones Ive personally encountered have been fixable by simply restarting the app.
As for the event itself some users seem to loath it while others love it. I fall somewhere in the middle. Im happy for the opportunity to snap up some of the proferred items since I missed the first Superheroes event. I like the idea of a superheroes sequel, but the implementation seems a tad stale and the gameplay seems (a) not terribly well thought out, and (b) at risk of quickly becoming tedious. Its admittedly a bit early to be assigning grades, but so far Id give this one a C+ or B-.KrustyBrand wrote:

Agree about being too early to assign a grade to the event. It's always funny to me when people flip out over events having even the slightest of issues, or not being what they want to see in the game.
I've also come to the conclusion that glitches are just a part of mobile games. They usually get fixed. It's not the end of the world.
Also, I LOVE this event!- That healing one was not worth it. I dismissed it and got one to craft something (after then dismissing the cash one), and won 500 knuckles. Much better in my opinion.
It's like near impossible to do. I only had 2 felons (missing purple), and I'd go against towns that had 3 orange (muscle). So I couldn't even have the advantage. Several of my neighbors were heavy on the muscle heroes fighting - this wasn't just a single town. Kratos6283 wrote:

Yeah, my letter grade is only a tentative one and Ill cheerfully admit that my views about the event could morph over time in either a positive or negative direction. I think my main reason for posting was to present a more balanced, middle-of-the-road look at the event, as opposed to those who either adore or despise it. Theres nothing intrinsically wrong with either of those two viewpoints, of course, but its a bit tiresome when those staking out extreme positions take it personally when others disagree with them.- I can never understand why people decide that an event sucks even though it had only been released a few days before and there's loads more stuff to come, either play or don't play the world won't grind toa halt if someone quits playing a game I've quit many over the years as I simply stoped enjoying them, but the end of the day it's up to the individual if they wish to play a particular event or not but if you really don't like something in a game either find something else to do/play whilst the event is happening or just have a few weeks off, oh and to glitches it's certainly not confined to just this game or mobile games in general it seems that sloppy programming of games of all types mobile/console and pc is now common place and accepted industry wide, it seems that it has become acceptable for game makers to release games with multiple issues and then fix it at a later date, in fact it seems quite normal now to place a brand new modern game in a game console and then download 2 or more gig of fixes before you can even play the thing, QA as far as the game industry is concerned seems to be a thing of the past.

for one...I never said I hated the event, I said I don't really like it...entertainment has been over playing the superhero stuff and im just so burnt out on superheroes anything PERIOD....and no I haven't been really playing, I play maybe once a day and I really don't care nor do I intend on getting everything....nor am I going to be one of them that *itch about not getting all the prizes...this event is so full of glitches and yah maybe they will get fixed maybe not...I don't really care one way or another...but for the ones who do like this event I would think they would be more on the ball of getting things fixed....
for two....I think your attitude stinks...you don't like what someone says, don't reply...common courtesy to everyone that wants to state an opinion but so many people don't cause they know they will get back lash from the others who disagree...nettangel wrote:

Not my favourite event but not the worse either. Still some fun bits here and there to keep my interest. Otherwise I would have quit long ago.
I agree with your grading KrustyBrand. You've become so wise since leaving Xanadu, you were a real McCoy for awhile and now, well, I just think you're Terrific!!!
I wonder how many people here are old enough to remember Tom. :wink:JimJ321 wrote:
It's like the time I went to the market but forgot my wallet. Sure I enjoyed filling up my shopping cart, trying samples and flirting with the produce workers...but in the end I couldn't pay for my food.
