I've been fortunate not to have run into that yet, but I wait for it every day. Seems counterintuitive to give land but no item limit increase. What do you do with all the extra space?
I Nuked on January 1, 2017, since then i have tried to rebuild my town every day,
EVERY DAY.I've gotten close but every time a new event appears the finishline gets further and further.
Various events such as the Airport or the Secret agents provided various items that fit quite easily, since then everytime an event starts i dont just create an event area (i lied yes i do), i try to incorporate those areas into springfield, which actually becomes easier as you start fiddling with ideas.
So while im not there yet, i understand the frustration of trying to build something in your town.
Various issues exist, but one of the more confusing ones is: How does an item with dimensions of 1x1 and 10x10 both count as 1 item? Yet items like Knightboat or Vigilant Town Square count as multiple (correct me if im wrong) i feel the "simple" solution would be increasing the size of smaller, most commonly used items, items like fences, shrubs, trees, etc
They should have a larger or longer version, a 1x2 fence should have a 1x4 and 1x8 versions trees can have groves, etc. This would allow you to keep the same format but substantially reduce the number of items used.
However i completely agree, if you release an event can you at least increase the item limit by the same number of items introduced in said event?
It's like having a 10 gallon container and being provided continuous amounts of liquid to fill it with. Sure some people may only choose a handful of liquids to fill it with, but a large portion will use all the liquids provided, eventually you will overflow, in which case a larger container would be needed (or a separate container, or "
Shelbyville" if you will.)\
