income from nerd attacks in long periods

Woke up to 8000 elixar and 2853 gold and I have the photo to prove it. I'm using varations on the one nerd per city and my personel strategy by where I analyse current buildings being destroyed, the amount of time left on their castle, size of the town and if characters are on their tasks to decide how many nerds I'll send. It works. Yesterday I had 6.2k elixar so that's an increase of 1800.

Damn... I have been getting around 2500 in the mornings and thought I was doing something right. You guys are killing. :shock:

I have not hit 1000 yet. I got 400 something once.

Apparently sending 5 nerds per town to neighbors, hoping they will reciprocate, is not a good method.

I've been consistently doing single nerd per building, hoping to trade defensive earnings with neighbors.

The alternative is to start doing max nerds per building, searching for undefended castles. Sounds more tedious. I'll just stick to what I'm doing. There seems plenty of time left.

Hopefully as castles get more defense people will change to my technique and we will earn more defensively.

Or i could be learning the real lesson in war, if you have the money you can afford to buy the victories and smother weak attackers like me.

I think it's been shown that max reward is 1 nerd per building, attacking random towns. The payoffs are considerable bigger - especially successes. You can minimize the time/effort by attackign houses too. It does impact the total payout, but not nearly as much as attacking friends does.

The defensive stuff is nice - it's more gold per tap, but quite frankly, it just doesn't happen enough. I'm not getting attacked enough to hit the goals. I've tried to do reciprocating, but it doesn't work. One of hte big things I've noticed is that you can only revenge 1 attack per building. So if you someone attacks your castle, and you defend, but have no nerds, then someone attacks again when you log in to collect your nerds, the revenge is that 2nd person, and you lose the revenge on the first. It's find when it's neighbors (and you remember who attacked), but doesn't work for randoms.

this is what i'm doing now and it's FUN :D
it adds a strategic angle

ive hit 10,000 elixir and 3000 gold overnight a few times.... really not that hard. I make 60 nerds every 2 hours. so all my attacks at 4PM, 6PM, 8PM, and 10PM I get the coins for when I wake up.

60 attacks each time, 4 attacks after 4PM.. 240 nerds x 70 elixir each = 16,800 elixirs. of which im getting 10,000 so im above 50% success rate on attacking.

I am certainly doing the attacking wrong looking at some of these pictures, the most i have got was just over a 1000 :shock:
