Intermitent EXTREME lag

My iPad (3rd gen) has that problem all the time. I think it's related to having too much animations going on at the same time. It gets very choppy when scrolling around or when tapping things. My iPhone 4s is okay usually though. Makes me wonder if I should get a new iPad... but no.

Did that (took 10 min with how bad the game is)

it is DEFINITELY something in my town... as KL is fine, friends towns are fine, and other logins are fine but my main Springfield is pretty effed

Since the beginning of the Halloween event I have had very bad lag on my iPhone4 but on my iPad4 it works great.
So unlike you it is a device issue for me

already tried:
storing a bunch of stuff
reinstalling multiple times
signing out and back in
force closing the app

I'm kinda at wits end

Do you have a large number of pending friend requests? That seems to slow my game down, then when I clear them out, it goes back to normal.

nope---no pending requests in game or on origin

Oh well, guess I won't hit 1,000,000 GOO, but if that is the prob I'd have to wait till Nov. 7th for it to fix :( though I don't think it is the issue as he has been possessed since the 8th and this just started last night

I'm on Android; I get the Lag after visiting 50+ friends. I suspect that there is a leak in the garage collection (Programming term in Java; not actual garbage.) I find it best just to restart my tablet than to try to work thru it

You're on my friend list is my town choppy when you visit??

I think I fixed it... went through all my characters and found lovejoy missing... stored the church and it seems to have gone back to a reasonable amount of lag....

I am getting a lag in scrolling (swiping) through the friend's town list.
Never seen that before--It began right after the app froze.
Have restarted the game, rebooted the device to clear memory--Wondering if it's a server issue.
