iphone app store is updated but no update

I'm getting the same thing. The button says open not update.

I clicked "open" from the app store, it prompted for my password, and it started downloading on my iPad.

I clicked open from the App Store and it just took me to the download of the game with no update. :cry: (this is on my iPad)
