Agreed! There is so much collecting to be done it really would be nice to have options.. maybe by using different skins for the building? Radius of 25%, 50%, 75% and "collect all". That way, we could choose for ourselves what we feel like doing on a particular day.

brilliant idea, may i suggest a slider so that the nerds amongst us can set it to irrational numbers.

When the IRS building was added to the game several of us asked via the old forum for the ability to change the collection area size and also for the ability to choose from collect from jobs, buildings etc, or both but nothing ever happened so had given up on the idea but I'll add my voice to the request for change in the hope that EA will consider this request.

I have to agree with suetopia. I would like to keep certain areas for friends to tap. I think this will stop me upgrading fully. Seems pointless upgrading and then having to store!!

The Simpson house refreshes every 45 seconds, and I have quite a few buildings that are less than an hour, so I really don't think of that as a concern. I always keep my town collected, and worse case Ontario, neighbors can vandalize. That almost never happens, and when it does, I think it is because they want to, rather than they are forced to.

It's not pointless to upgrade, especially if you want that final level skin. And if you want to make it easier to collect incomes.

If you want to keep a certain area for friends to tap then just don't tap around that area. Use a corner/edge area if you must. Would neighbors really have troubles finding something to tap on? And even if so, would that outweigh the convenience that a larger tapping area would provide you with multiple times a day?

I have a brown house district (I think I might even have more than one) which my visitors can tap freely every 5 minutes.
