is anyone else crashing with most recent update?

Just after the update, my wife purchased some donuts, and before she could return to her town, the game crashed. I can log in and play my game (on several devices) without problem. Since this happened 5 hours ago, she can log in, but it crashes every time before her town loads, on multiple devices. We put in a ticket to EA, but just got back a standard reply.
It's not that difficult for them to understand. Bought donuts. Game crashes repeatedly after log in. Please help.
