I can't see EA doing anything about it, how would they tell? Go through millions of accounts one at a time and see if they tie up with what they have purchased?
Personally i couldn't see the problem with having loads of free donuts, as long as you dont use them to speed up. I think speeding up is what ruins the game. I have a fair amount of donuts that i have aquired over time which is no different really, free or not i was getting everything in the premium list one way or another.
Companies like Nintendo have successfully been able to track down people who upload pirated Nintendo games on websites as free downloads. If Nintendo can track down people, then surely EA can track down illegitimate accounts as well.
they have 10milion+ downloads. who cares about hackers.
also there's no possible way to know if one has hacked or not really.
How do you know if they legitemely bought donuts or not? cant rich people buy many boatloads if they want? and if they do should they be banned cause they've over 10000? no
Only way is seeing the registration date and check the old items probably. but even then innocent people may have been tricked in downloading old items' hack. you may NEVER know
