Is it just me or placing Feds on friends towns are getting harder and harder to do?

I'm having the same problem as Vic and barszap in both my games.
Tonight I had at least 1/3 of neighbor towns that were full of Feds so I too tapped one house.
Both games are crashing on random towns; yesterday it was three times, tonight twice. Both started after the last update two days ago.
