Is it time for Krustyland?

It takes a long time to do anything, since you get a very small amount of tickets for each task.

Once you get the shuttle, it doesn't cost you any more in-game cash because Krustyland has its own currency. It's not terribly exciting, though, except for the possible free donuts at Sideshow You. I never went out of my way to send characters on tasks there or anything. The place is really... kind of an afterthought. But hey, I do like the 25 donuts I've gotten so far.

Blimey!! I'm still trying to get my 1st 5donuts

KL is defo an after thought for me i hardly ever visit there now, mainly cos i always forget about it

And that may be why you don't have the donuts! That is... according to addicts you should get the 5 donuts every 299 pops. And there is a 1/100 chance of getting them before that. But, given Neuro's experience of a long drought, there may be one or more ways the counter gets set back to zero on those pops. Like maybe if you do not pop in x hours, it gets reset.

A recent suggestion I saw was to do the dog races and then do side-show-you. Helps me remember to do side-show-you.

Thanks for the info everyone. Much appreciated. Now that I know KL doesn't eat up my cash flow and I have most of the quests completed, I have officially started. :)

It does slightly hurt the cash flow though, as Homer, Lisa, Bart, etc will be generating TICKETS and not CASH. So if you are used to 120k a day, subtract 14 characters from that flow and you will see you are making less.

Krustyland will require you to go premium or keep dedication of using the smaller tasks. It's pretty limited at first since lots of the tasks are locked since they need particular attractions. The attractions can take a while to save up for if you aren't utilizing the smaller tasks.

I would recommend to 5 star as early as possible as you get vistors that generate tickets every few hours. You get more visitors with each star rating. Typically I matched the other stars to the attraction one. So when that one was at 3 stars, I 3 starred the other ratings. It will help daily income of tickets with the extra visitors.
  • I forgot to mention something...

You can visit your friends' KL and get tickets. You can do that even before you start your own KL! The game will keep track of your tickets and give them to you once you start your KL. This is how I got a head start on my KL. At the time I was playing on a device with small RAM, and could not load some of my friends' SF. But KL worked. To visit a friend's KL, tap on it on the friends screen. It's sort of a pain to get to the next KL, because the arrow key will take you to SF. So you either have to find the bus, or exit back out to the friends screen.

Thanks for the heads-up but I had a few tickets from when I first started playing and visited friends' KL on accident lol. Not many, but they were there. Cash is too important to me atm to start tapping friends' KL instead of SF, but I'm wondering: Is the chance for random donuts in KL as well?

I took the jump to premium within my first week of playing. I don't go crazy, but I get the things I want most. As far as characters and tasks, I see how it works. I plan on taking KL VERY slowly as I'm still completing all my quests and designing my SF, but once I'm fairly content with my town, I will probably focus on KL for a while. I will make sure I still have a decent cash income to save for updates and the really expensive stuff. Right now, I'm just enjoying it and taking my time. From what I can see though, I will probably never spend donuts on KL.

Also, thanks for the info :)

    It doesn't appear so, no.

Good to know. Thanks, as always. :)

Wouldn't be shocked if there was some significant KL action as a late summer event. I still say KL is just not that engaging - it really does feel disconnected. Maybe it would help to have a quest line that has some quests in KL and some in SF, going back and forth. Maybe the townsfolk have to look for a missing kid.

Maybe even a certain missing baby, who could maybe become playable at the end of the quest...

Lol... that is actually a really good idea for the implementation of Maggie. Are you listening EA? :P
