Is it worth getting the Popsicle stick thing, giant escalator and magnifying glass?

Lots of exp. points, if you care about donuts. I couldn't make the Popsicle skyscraper work, plus it seems to slow the game down (as I'm sure the escalator does as well), so it's in my inventory, but I like & have placed the other two.

I have the escalator & because I'm level 35 for a long time I could get the others but choose not to. My son has all of them. He put the magnifying glass on the snowmen characters & that looks cool cuz they're melted anyway. Lol

Well, I haven't been playing nearly long enough to get those things, but aesthetically the skyscraper and elevator don't really appeal to me, so I probably wouldn't put them in my town. (If I did, it would be up against the mountains so they weren't blocking a lot of scenery.) I like the magnifying glass sometimes, though. I've seen it used in a few very creative ways.
