I was grateful for the shoutout, but that has literally nothing to do with anything. I've been complaining about the lack of returning Halloween items since I made my account on this board. And I almost quit when I thought Legs and Louie were coming without Fat Tony. I may very well stop playing if I can't achieve the goal of collecting all the characters. It makes the game pointless if its a game that cannot ever be won.
Exactly. Except I would change the quote from "makes the game pointless if its a game that cannot ever be won" to "completed".
I'm with Josh here. I started at Christmas. Missed out on a lot, but not as much as the people who joined in March (missing Valentine's Day), or April (missing *. Patrick's Day), or July (missing Whacking Day), etc. I don't care if they bring back the same stuff I was able to get the first time around. I'm sure they will have new very expensive stuff for the old timers that the newbies can't afford. And does it affect my game if the newbies get to buy the old stuff? No. Will it help me for the things that I missed? Yes.
EA is a business. This game will continue as long as it is still making money. PLUS how can you continue a story line if the new gamers can't get the characters? Answer: You can't. So would those of you who do not want the old stuff to come back want a story line to stop?
This entire argument is non-productive. EA will do what makes the most money. And I agree with what ever they do.
Except I want picnic tables. And I want them to be able to go in SF and KL and SP. And I want the characters to sit on them facing the table. :-)
