Is TSTO appropriate for a 9 year old?
I wouldn't let anyone under the age of 11 or 12 play it...some of the content and jokes are a bit too mature for a 9 year old but not so much for an 11 or 12 year old.

fwiw, there's dialog in the game that likely would never be allowed to be shown (as text) on the tv show.
I'm thinking of lines like:
"You’re a bunch of slack-jawed, overpaid, ignorant f--"
and
"And all for 2 miserable donuts? The people who run this game are just cheap mother--"
Not really a big deal to me, and would go over the heads of most kids, but I know some adults didn't even like that dialog.
