iTunes gift card

You go to iTunes/App Store on your device or your computer and redeem the gift card. Your account with be credited the amount of the gift card and then you purchase like normal.

Here's Apple's official help page on the topic:

  • I guess I'm confused because I'm on Android. Can I link an iTunes account to Google Play?

    No.
  • If you are on Android, you'll need a Google Play gift card. Cause Google Play is the name of the App Store you use on Android. iTunes gifts cards are, logically, Apple only.

No you can't, but if you have a friend who has an iPhone, you can log in on their phone and do it from there. I did that. I had about $100 in my iTunes account from a Christmas gift that was just sitting there. I used my buddy's phone, downloaded the game, logged into his phone with my iTunes account, went into the game and bought my donuts.

    It's doable...it's just MUCH more complicated. :?
