- I was kinda bummed out about the statue melting too actually. It just didn't seem to make much sense, since there is a different ice statue that you can buy that doesn't ever melt.
What's with that!? :?
Someone wasn't paying attention to what they were doing while designing the alternate version of the holiday statue... Fail! - I'm going to make a puddle park. Or maybe just hide them all behind buildings.
- Good to see you back, Josh! I still didn't get Claus Co dang it. I haven't changed over to the update yet, so maybe I'll be able to get it.
- Haha I love this forum more each day
- And I thought EA was referring to all the "murdered Springfields" ( including mine  )
I guess technically it was a mass alien abduction or mass kidnapping.
But totally agree with Josh on the original post and with my town gone, my interest is gone.   - Ah... The silver lining...

Actually, we didn't get anything. :Pfishingguy73 wrote:
I got new buildings and a character in this Christmas event.
What he prolly meant was this update today didn't give us nothing.
(Double-negative sentence.)
/removes "grammar police" badge 8)- So true.

And given that a lot of people used donuts chasing the Ice God to lose it like this is totally out of order IMO. Totally agree Josh.
How could someone spend donuts for spinning the ice god?? Ok, for buildings / characters, yeah, but a stupid ice sculpture? If someone really did that, it's his/her own fault.
I clearly not expected that they will let this ice sculpture melt (we all should knew that the snowmens will), because of the other ice sculpture which is not melting.
Well, it did and we can use it again at the next christmas event! So no big deal, its just a sculpture..
Btw. if not everyone would complaining about the snow after just a few weeks, maybe EA had let it be till February and we could use the sculpture about 3 months.- Been trying to resist logging in and making a post because some of the comments on here make me realise the average age playing this game must be somewhere between 12-19 (I kid, I kid), but....
Has EA made any guarantees with their updates? Way too much assumption leading to claims of what people are owed. You're not owed bupkiss.
The whole wheel thing smacks of greedy and ungrateful little children. If you spent donuts on it - tough. You had the choice and you made it. I spun it and got all the things I needed and didn't overstretch when it came to neighbours or leaving the Springfielders out looking for Homer and Lisa.
If I'd spun and got nothing, I'd have got on with my life because the game doesn't guarantee me anything. (And I say this as someone who goofed and didn't buy Mr Sparkle. I goofed. My bad. Not EAs.)
It's luck. That's been said time after time after time. And yet we're still seeing threads referencing this.
Personally, it's not EA making me not want to play the game, it's coming on here to get some info or tips and seeing what feels like hundreds of SEPARATE threads (seriously, does there really need to be individual threads for each sob story??) whining about a FREEMIUM game.
Get over yourselves.
