JM doesnt work!?

^Same. I have 150 some characters doing nothing and my office says "send 3"
  • I wanted to add I'm on android 5.1 on a LG G4 and check for 8 hour task for over night. And only 43 out of 80 possible characters with 8 hour tasks would be assigned to them by the JM. So for tonight I just sent them all out the old way. I'll test tomorrow with 1 hour task after I get a good night sleep. Also I notice after they are all sent JM indicted 80 on 8 hour tasks and the out total was correct for the combined individual amounts minus conform and item multiplier bonuses. It would be nice if the total included the bonuses.
  • Characters that can craft in SFH are excluded from Job Manager.
    I am guessing that its the same for Burns Money Fountain and recycling jobs, cant check that since i finished rail yard with 4 days to spare.

    Only if you can still craft things. I.E. If you have less than 200 chairs then Homer, Mrs. Krabapple, Ned, etc will not be included.

    Reportedly, this is also true for recycling jobs if they are not full. And Money Mountain. And any task in the task book.

    In my iOS game the Job Manager is working correctly. I am full on all crafting materials, I'm not finished with Money Mountain, I don't have the school bus, and Krusty has a 24 hour random task in my Task Book. So when I hit the assignment button for 4 hours all my characters except Burns, Uter, and Krusty are assigned 4 hour tasks.
  • Definitely some issues with JM on android, thought I'd try it to save a bit of time so i sent everyone on a 12hr job for overnight so out of the 160 something characters I've got I had 2 jobs listed in the task list and I think a couple of characters that haven't got 12 hr tasks all crafting buildings are maxed out so for the 12 hr option I'm only allowed 61 characters the rest I've got to manually assign so didn't save that much time, I guess one day they will fix it.
  • I have 97 characters. Take out the heights and recycle characters the numbers left don't add up in the JM. With all heights and recycle buldings with jobs available here is what my JM shows. All but one of my characters have a 1 hour task: JM indicates 79. All but 1 have 4 hour task: JM indicates 58. All have 8 hour task: JM indicates 42. I rarely send on 12 hour and 24 hour so I don't know the status of those and would rather not cycle to get a count. Given that JM indicates 38 for 12 hour and 35 for 24 hour I am safe in assuming those are also way off and broken as well.

    After assigning all the heights and recycle tasks JM changed to the following: 58 for 1 hour, 49 for 4 hour, 37 for 8 hour, 33 for 12 hour, 32 for 24 hour. I used the 1 hour thing to send those 58. Which left 6 with 1 hour tasks not sent on task. Which means it would have sent 27 of the characters involved in the heights and recycle tasks on 1 hour tasks. So it definitely is not taking into consideration if a character can be sent to heights or recycled production. But it is for sure missing a lot of characters in an increasing amount down the list.

    So the JM isn't designed to exclude characters who have an open job in heights or recycling. I thought it was and is why I posted those results. So what we have is more simple: that being the JM simply is not containing all the characters it is supposed to have for all the duration options. And all the ones it is supposed to have are all characters without a taskbook task to do.

    There must be some other element to that ... Here's what happened to me just now:

    Marge was the only character free. I wanted to send her on a one-hour job....


    What I wrote is the way it's SUPPOSED to work. And my iPad Mini game works correctly. All my characters except the ones with pending tasks and the ones that don't have a task of the length I'm assigning get assigned.

    On my Android game... Well I guess Android is even more messed up than we thought.

    The only tasks in my Android game Task Book are:
    Ain't No Mountain High Enough Pt. 6
    Real Estate Mogul Pt. 3
    Actions Speak Louder Than Quietly Whining (24 hour random task for Marge).

    Yesterday I wrote down the ones that didn't get assigned:
