Not sure, but I think Hawking needs to be free to trigger the next storyline. Maybe Homer and Frink too.

I got a tip to use two fingers.
As Mecha Hawk is always in the same spot, you can just tap without thinking and continue tapping normally for the rest of the robots. Works perfectly. :wink:
Edit : not sure how many times we need to defeat him though in this questline. I'm at the 4th one already.
