Just spent 8 donuts.

EA has a bad habit of randomly turning that setting to OFF during updates. It doesn't happen every time, or to everybody, but it's always a good idea to check your settings after every update.

You can always ask EA to refund your donuts, but there's no guarantee.

    Just tried that,

    "I am really sorry but we are unable to do anything regarding this since you tapped it quickly.
    I hope this will serve as a lesson for you." lol
