I'm low on donuts and really would like this character. Can anyone confirm the 23rd date? I would be suprised since the other current items (bells and fire cans) have counters for this date but the cave just says limited time. This suggests he'll be available past 12/23 and possibly for the duration of the event like the drive in was for Halloween.

I can't confirm or anything but I was thinking along the same lines as you are with comparison to the Drive In and the way there's no actual countdown under King Winter. Either way I figure we have at least 18-19 more days to decide. I do have the donuts myself but really debating it. I like the look of the cave and since I just saw he has a task to date Ms. Hoover, I think that's very amusing but meh... It is pricey. It's nice that the cave has a multiplier as at this point I would much rather get a multiplier than money but at that price, if I want more multipliers in my town I could obviously do much better... But I figure I will wait and see what I think, or if something better pops up or something.

I will also add that I'm Jewish so I'm a lot less excited about the Christmas stuff in general but then there's a benefit to this character as he's winter-y but not specifically Christmas. That adds to the appeal for me personally and I would think in general he's a bit more useful to everyone versus items with overt holiday connections.

I had to look for this thread.
I just won 50 donuts on a scratchie and made it up to 175. Now I don't think I will buy it. I don't think I have anywhere for it really any ways.
Glad to see differing opinions. I got Santas Villiage and still haven't started those tasks yet.

I didn't even have to think about buying it. As soon as I saw it I bought donuts to get it. Ok, I was planning on buying donuts for this update anyway, but this just prodded me along. Besides, this makes the third Evil Character to be released. Mwaahaha! :twisted:

I know this is last year's thread but I didn't see his tasks listed in the pages here other than a 24 hr visual. I passed last year but was thinking of getting him this year. I was wondering if someone could list all his tasks please and if his 24 hr one was the only visual? Any regrets from last year after the snow melted? Did the cave melt?

12 hr hunt for food and 24hr ear ribs are the only visuals. The cave does not melt in summer.

I got it last year. I knew right away I wanted it. It's supposed to be The Winter Warlock from one of the classic Xmas animation TV shows. He lives in the forest the rest of the year.
