Landing Zone out of "bounds" (bought land bounds)?

I believe the default landing zone is the intersection between the midpoint between your corner plots.

So, if you bought land around the outside, leaving unbought land in the middle, then this happens.

One of my neighbors did the same thing in the past... No idea why
